En verano, los actores van al cine

Al llegar las vacaciones en sus series, los actores televisivos aprovechan el tiempo participando en otros proyectos, para no ser encasillados en los personajes que interpretan durante todo el año. De este modo, varios de los protagonistas de Mujeres Desesperadas utilizan estos días para grabar películas que les hacen salir de Wisteria Lane momentáneamente. Estas son algunos de las producciones en las que trabajan en este momento:

Felicity Huffman se ha desplazado a Nueva Orleans para rodar Le Caméléon, un nuevo filme independiente co-producido por Canadá. Tras Phoebe in Wonderland, Flicka se embarca en la historia de Fréderic Bourdin, un fugitivo que se hace pasar por un adolescente americano y lo reeemplaza en su familia. Huffman es la madre "adoptiva", mientras que Marc-André Grondin (CRAZY, Guerrilla) es el joven. Dirige Jean-Paul Salomé (Arsène Lupin, La Máscara del faraón) y Kathy Bates podría estar también presente.

Por otro lado, Marcia Cross parece haberse embarcado en su primer proyecto cinematográfico en años. Según IMDB, Peck es su título y sería una comedia en la que la actriz es la madre, Cheryl Peck, del protagonista. Adam Arkin (Chicago Hope), Andrew McFarlane, Keir Gilchrist, Camryn Manheim (Entre Fantasmas) y Kyle Kaplan son otros de los miembros de este televisivo reparto. Además, es posible que la polémica peluca que llevaba Marcia hace unas semanas fuera para este rodaje.

Por último, Kyle MacLachlan enlaza proyectos, pues tras finalizar Mao's Last Dancer se pone en marcha con Manure de los hermanos Polish (Northfork). El actor se une a Billy Bob Thornton, Ed Helms y Tea Leoni en esta comedia sobre un vendedor de abono en la América de 1960.
